Visa Services for Students

In many cases, IAESTE is able to provide visa and work authorization assistance for U.S. students who have secured an internship placement on their own.

What are Visa Services?

The IAESTE network can provide work authorization and visa services in many of its member countries. University students who have secured an internship opportunity at a company or university overseas, but need help obtaining work authorization and/or visa should contact iaeste@culturalvistas.org.

How does it work?

Interested candidates should contact the IAESTE program team at iaeste@culturalvistas.org to learn about specific processes for each country.

What does it cost?

The fee for work authorization services is $350. The participant is responsible for any travel costs, additional visa costs, and their health insurance coverage for the duration of their stay abroad.

Visa Services for Host Companies

In many cases, the IAESTE program is able to provide J-1 Visa sponsorship for confirmed internship programs in the United States.

How does it work?

We administer visas for over 5,000 interns each year. Cultural Vistas will assist IAESTE participants in completing all bureaucratic procedures associated with coming to the United States.
