2009 Short Term Experential Programs Available for U.S. Students
Looking to gain professional experience abroad but cannot fit a semester-long study abroad program into your schedule? Want to travel to Brazil, Turkey, China, or Ireland and earn college credit? Want to participate in a hands-on program that explores important international issues such as land revitalization, earthquake engineering, and sustainable energy? IAESTE United States, in conjunction with our partner universities, is offering 4 short term experiential programs during the 2009 year:
- Brownfields: Land Revitalization, Spring 2009 – Hong Kong and Southern China
- Earthquake Engineering: Istanbul at the Threshold, Spring 2009 - Turkey
- Empower: Engineering for a Sustainable Future, Summer 2009 - Brazil
- IMPACT: Advancing Women in Engineering, Summer 2009 - Ireland
In addition, members of IAESTE are eligible to participate in the INNOVATE conference, which will be held in Vietnam and Taiwan from March 13-22, 2009.
